Love is in the air and what better way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year than to make your Valentine a refreshing Valentines Vodka Spritzer.
This cocktail not only looks divine, but tastes heavenly and makes the perfect aperitif to your Valentines Day Dinner á Deux. This recipe makes 4 cocktails so there won’t be any left to waste – perfect! It also tastes just as great without the vodka for any tee-totallers out there.
I froze some cranberry juice in a Tovolo Heart Ice Mould to make these stunning heart shaped ice cubes and add a romantic flourish to the spritzers. You’ll need to make these at least one hour before serving the cocktails.
To get started on the Valentines Vodka Spritzers place the cranberries, honey and water into a blender and blend until a puree forms, adding more water if necessary. Pour the cranberry puree into a bowl.
Place the cranberry ice into a cocktail glass, then add 1½oz of vodka and two tablespoons of cranberry puree to each glass. Top off with club soda and a squeeze of lime. Stir gently to combine.
Happy Valentines Day!
